Candoc is an app designed to provide virtual access to trusted family doctors across Canada. As the designer and creative lead on this UI UX project, I aimed to make virtual healthcare feel more human. Drawing from the warmth of Canada’s maple tones, I used orange and red hues, soft rounded elements, and the clean geometry of Plus Jakarta Sans to build a platform that feels approachable, organized, and reassuring.

The Problem
In 2023, more than one in five Canadians, an estimated 6.5 million people, lacked a regular family physician or nurse practitioner, up from 4.5 million in 2019. Patients struggle to communicate symptoms accurately or feel misunderstood due to language barriers and lack of cultural familiarity
Our Approach
Create a user-centered mobile experience for Canadians that brings together referrals, diagnostic tests, messaging, and secure health record storage in a single platform. Using clear visual hierarchy and intuitive flows to simplify complex processes, allowing users to personalize their experience and book appointments seamlessly.
